New Orleans is the birthplace of jazz and jazz sounds and resonates in its streets. As expected, in such a creative city, jazz set the tone for new styles and irreverent acts. When visiting the Big Easy, we have the privilege of enjoying a little of everything.

During our visit to the tabanca, at a glance, the djidius (poet musicians)  mandingas are organized. Two of the village's prodigious balaphonists take the lead, flanked by children who imitate them. Megaphone singers at the ready, sing, dance and play guitar. There is a chora player and several djambes and drums. Its exhibition generates successive shivers.

The time is set and the place is known. When the music starts playing, a crowd follows the choreography harmoniously until time runs out and everyone returns to their lives.
