When to go

The southern winter (May to November) when temperatures and humidity drop significantly, is the most comfortable time of year to visit Fiji. This is also the period when the Pacific Ocean cools down and, as a result, cyclones do not visit the archipelago. Despite the increasing unpredictability of weather in the South Pacific, December and January are, in historical terms, the wettest and most prone to cyclone formation. March and April like December can be considered transition months in which, with bad luck, the weather will remain rainy for more than a day or two.
